I'm Jen, the person behind Fayre Social. I work with mission-led founders, creatives, and nonprofits who are ready to show up online in a way that actually feels like them.

How it all
started.

Growing up, I always imagined myself in a corporate or government job. Something purposeful. Which is exactly why I enrolled in International Studies. I was the academic girlie. I had a plan.

Then the pandemic happened. And I feel like the world just... stopped.

I quit college and found myself at home with nowhere to be. My older sister, who had been working digitally for years and is honestly one of the most quietly remarkable people I know, started sending me courses to watch. I applied for a VA job. I got it in less than a week.

While working as a General VA, something happened that I didn't expect. I fell in love with social media marketing. I started watching every free YouTube video I could find. My inbox became a graveyard of marketing newsletters I'd actually read.

I wasn't doing it because someone told me to. I was doing it because I couldn't stop.

After about a year, I went back to college while freelancing on the side. I was juggling client work, coursework, and a very full notes app, but I was the happiest I had been. I was paying for my own studies. I was helping my family. I even graduated with honors. That one still makes me tear up a little.

After graduating, I explored different paths and gained even more experience across different teams and industries. Eventually, I found my way back to what felt most like me: working with the freedom to be fully present for the things that matter, including my volunteering, my passions, and the clients I genuinely want to show up for.

Where I'm headed, and
why it matters to me.

After working across so many industries, I kept coming back to the same question.

What if I could combine everything I love?

My background in International Studies wasn't just a degree. It was four years of learning how the world works, how people connect across difference, how stories travel, how communities are built from the inside out. And marketing, at its best, does exactly that.

So I made a decision. I am focusing on impact-led founders, creatives, and nonprofits, people who are building something that genuinely matters, and who deserve content that reflects that.

I am still learning on this journey. But I show up for it with everything I have, every single time.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family

I am the youngest of four sisters, all girls. I grew up with my nieces and nephews so I permanently feel like both the baby and the responsible one.

💻 Digital habits

I always have multiple tabs open and my notes app literally contains my entire life. Strategies, random thoughts, half-finished ideas at midnight. It is all in there.

🍦 My decompressing essentials

Ice cream and sweet pastries, especially cinnamon rolls. Genuinely one of the most effective ways I reset. Non-negotiable.

🌿 On weekends

I will either go on a full adventure all weekend or cancel everything and stay home. There is absolutely no in between. (I also love being alone from time to time and I think that is perfectly okay.)

📸 Behind the lens

I love capturing small quiet moments. Still learning to be confident getting in front of the camera because growing up I was always the shy introverted girl behind it.

📷 Finding joy

I love taking photos of absolutely everything and finding joy in the tiniest, silliest things. Life is in the small moments.

👓 Cannot live without

My glasses!! My vision is genuinely terrible and I have fully accepted this.
